I played way to many claw games as a kid, im offended by the shiny wasabi kitten claw game not acknowledging my aiming skills tbh xDĪnyway while we're on the subject of how real life claw games are a massive con, you're not wrong, but theres a trick for claw games at most funfairs, most of the time the stand will be a square/rectangle with machines facing outward on each side and the top of the machine is fully glass, what you do is play a machine on each side once, while sneakingly looking at the back of the machines on the other side, at least 95% of claw game machines i've seen at funfairs have controls and a number display on the back/inside of the stand & you can look at other people playing high or low number machines to decide what machines you should play on (sometimes the number describes gripping strength, sometimes the number represents failed grabs to go until it actually grabs, you get the idea, just pay attention to those numbers and the people playing high & low number machines to decide what machines you should target)
If you get the same t-shirt for winning.but knowing Rockstar they probably made two different t-shirts for that particular one. That one could be a stupid high number of tries before you win it.ĮDIT: I am also curious as to why there are two duplicate brown ones in the middle. Thats whats telling me its not random at all and thats why I kind of gave up. The problem with that Wasabi Kitty one in the back is I have yet to see someone post a video of winning that one. Maybe its a statistical percentage.I tried lining them up all day long.Ive seen successful pulls on youtube and tried positioning the claw the exact same way.it made no difference really it still took about 100 pulls to get it to go. Yeah some guy on youtube livestreamed his 6+ hours going for the same one I've been going for.I think he just gave up. That would explain why I was getting nothing trying for so long to get PRB first! I did finally just get her, and counted 23 pulls to get Saki (although I may have done a couple before - I don't remember). Shiny Wasabi Kitty Plushie - at least 450-500 and still nothing. The green cat in the front - 100 - 150 pulls and it grabbed it.
If anyone is curious I will leave the stats for the plushies I went for the most.
For now I have just settled on doing 10-20 tries each time I am online. To be honest I was kind of waiting for a list to come out with how many pulls it takes to get each one. I think for each plushie you need to trigger the shaking animation X amount of times.and for some of them its a large number. You put the claw in a relatively general drops on the plushie.the plushie does a shaking motion (which lets you know you triggered a pull) Thats telling to me because it lets you know which one you just went for.hypothetically if it doesnt matter where the claw is than you could put it in the middle of two of them and increase your chances of getting one.but Rockstar put in the little shaking animation. Its a time waster.so I really dont think it matters where the claw is.and I don't think its random.įrom my point of view the mechanic is simple.
